Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Section 48(4) of the Planning and Development Act 2000 (as amended), that Cavan County Council has prepared a Draft Development Contribution Scheme for the period 2026-2030.
Copies of the Draft Development Contribution Scheme showing proposed contributions under the Draft Scheme are available for public inspection at the following location during office hours from Thursday, 9th October, 2025 to Thursday, 20th November, 2025.
The Customer Service Desk, 2nd Floor Johnston Library Building, Farnham Street, Cavan, Co. Cavan, H12 C9K1
The Draft Scheme is also available for inspection online via this consultation platform under 'Materials'. A copy may also be purchased at a fee not exceeding the reasonable cost of making a copy.
Submissions and observations in relation to the Draft Development Contribution Scheme 2026 - 2030 are invited during the public consultation period, from Thursday, 9th October, 2025 to Thursday, 20th November, 2025 and may be made in any of the following ways:
In writing, to the Administrative Officer, Planning Department, Cavan County Council, 2nd Floor Johnston Library Building, Farnham Street, Cavan, Co. Cavan clearly marked ‘Draft Development Contribution Scheme 2026 – 2030’
The closing date for submissions is 5pm on Thursday, 20th November, 2025.
NOTE 1: Please make your submission by one medium only (i.e. hard copy or online via this consultation platform).
NOTE 2: Submissions or observations received are subject to public viewing.
